Michael McNeil is in command of the GDI forces under General Solomon. We first meet him while he is on maneuvers with his crew, Lt. Commander Chandra. He is shown recent footage that proves that Kane (the leader of the Brotherhood of Nod) is still alive. The premis of Tiberian Sun is the battle between the Brotherhood and the GDI in the form of an PC game.
