YES, you posted it here! This is easily one of my most favorite M7 stories of all, it's so rich with emotions, wonderful characterizations, plot and all around greatness.

And did I read the word sequel? Oh, yes please, please, please *on my knees begging shamelessly - and since that's not a pretty sight I hope you'll get one up soon ;-)*

Thank you for this new take on the Star Trek AU. DS9 has always been my favorite of the Star Trek incarnations. Your characters selections are intriguing - I didn't even realize how much I would be interested in a shake up of the characters canon 'assignments', until you did it. I hope you plan to do more with this au. I'm hopeful to learn more about your Vin. Poor young Vulcan not where he needs to be during such a confusing and vulnerable time. I also hope you'll write about Chris and his new science officer and the effect their new friendship will have on each other.

Author's Response: I had to go with the character's emotional strong suits. It just felt right putting them there, though, Josiah's religion clashed with Odo's lack there of. Vin is his own little Vulcan/Human hybrid. He will learn in time how to control his body. Hell, he's only twenty-four, that's still a baby in Vulcan society. He has plenty of time. I am working on a plot for a sequel. If I write it is another question. I'll be sure to post it here, if I do.
