Just a VERY little something whipped up a while back... This is for the DD.
His knees - bony, yet strong. She's watched them bend, perfectly cushioning each step he took. Through the buckskin pants she'd watched them lift up, provide a place to rest an elbow as his boot caught a fence rail.
He always seems to be brushing those dirty knees off - trail dust or street dirt scattering with each swipe. Today is no exception. She watches as he leaves the livery, a hand wiping first those luscious lips of his, then dropping down to brush off those dirty knees again.
What hard work had he been doing all this time? Those knobby knees taking the brunt of his labor. Only his best friend seems to know, as he follows the man out of the livery...
