Just like yesterday Derek and Kyle left to learn shoot.I stay alone.
Suddenly I see someone in my door. It's woman with red hair.
„Hi, dear... Hey, what's happen?” she asks. „Why are you so sad?”
I look at her and say by tears „I want to be a soldier too! Just like my brothers! I want to fight!”
She smiles and comes close to me.
„You're Kyle's sister... Are you, Ellie, right?” she asks.
„Ellen.” I say. „Only my brothers calls me 'Ellie'...”
„I see..” She nods. „My name is Kate. I'm John Connor's wife...” she says.
„I knew it!” I think. „Nice to meet you, Kate...” I say.
„The pleasure is mine.” She takes my hands and says „ Listen Ellen... You don't have to be a soldier to can fight...”
„I don't?” I ask with curious.
„Sure. Look at me.. I'm not a soldier...” she says and shows her belly. She is in pregnant. „But I'm one of the leaders of resistance...”
„Really?” I'm shock.
„Of course.” she says. „Not only soldiers can fight. I'm a chief of medical facility... Rescue of human's life is very important thing, belive me... Even more than simply fight. Everybody can learn to shoot... It's easy. But to safe life, you have to have a gift..”
„And you have it, Ellen... I see it in your eyes. If you want I can teach you...” she says gently.
My eyes shine when I hear her and I feel tears in my eyes. „I want. Really... Please, teach me... Thank you, Kate...”
„Your welcome...” she smiles.
I hug her and in her arms I feel so calm and safety.
She looks straight to my eyes. „Ellen Reese. Since this day you're my personal medical assistant..” she says serious.
I stand up and salute „Yes, Sir...”
Tears falls down by my cheeks but it was tears of happiness. I smile. I feel wonderful, like never before.
„Thank you...” I whisper.
