The Honolulu Metro Police Dept.

"I see you got an early call from the captain," replied John as he watched Sean come in the door.

"My call came early alright, just after midnight. The bartender was taking his trash from the bar and when he went to dump it, he found a man slumped over by the dumpster. When he went to check the man he found that he was dead," replied Sean laying the file on the desk.

"Sean, do you have anything on the man behind the bar?" asked Harada coming over to Sean's desk.

"The coroner said that he was killed some time between nine clock and midnight. He was shot with a thirty eight caliber at close range. Whoever shot him took any valuables that he had. I asked the bartender if he had seen the man come in the bar at any time last night. He told me that he has never seen him in the bar," said Sean.

"So we have a man dead and no suspect," said Harada.

"There was something about the man that made me wonder. He looked like he was homeless. I walked around the area, but I didn't find anything," replied Sean.

"Most of you know why I asked you to come in early. The mayor called me yesterday and reminded me that the tourists will be coming soon. Which means is that he wants the streets cleaned up before then," said Harada.

"It looks like someone has already started to clean up the streets," replied Sean.

"Captain, does this mean that some of us will have to go undercover? Danny asked.

"Someone will have to, are you volunteering Gaines?" asked Harada.

"Maybe, if it will catch this person," said Danny.

"Captain, there has been another body found in the alley behind the Palm Tree bar," said Kaleo walking into the room.

"Sean, go check it out," said Harada going into his office.

"Alright captain," said Sean.

"The coroner will meet you there. Officers have roped the area off and started collecting any evidence," replied Harada.

"You ready? Sean asked John.

"Let's go, before anything else happens," replied John following Sean out the door.

"Chris, I want you and Danny to check out all the bars for anyone that might be there," said Harada.

"What do you want us to do if we find anyone?" asked Danny.

"See if any of the shelters will take them for a while," replied Harada.

"We may have to call for backup if there are too many," said Danny.

"If you need them, go ahead and call. I'll have a police wagon waiting just in case," said Harada just as Danny and Chris stood up and started to walk out the door.

John could see the look on Sean's face; he knew from the look that he was getting frustrated. He knew how Sean felt, he felt the same way. They had gone from one case to another one. Sean drove up to the alley behind the bar; he parked the car and started to walk toward Joe, who was already examining the victim.

"What do you have for me Joe/ Sean asked kneeling down next to the victim.

"We have a male victim, age between forty five and fifty. Time of death was somewhere between midnight and two. He was shot with thirty eight caliber at close range. I'll know more when I get him back to the lab," replied Joe to Sean.

"Who found the Victim? Sean asked the other officers.

"A 'Stacy Nelson', she's a waitress at the bar. She came outside to have a cigarette and found the victim laying there by the dumpster," replied the officer.

"Where is she now? We need to ask her some questions," said Sean walking around the area.

"Sean, not far from the dumpster, I found where it looks like someone had been sleeping," replied John looking around the area.

"It may have been where the victim was sleeping. Did you find anything?" asked Sean looking around the area.

"I found a small duffle bag under some boxes," replied John.

"Did you find anything that tells us who he is?" asked Sean.

"I didn't find any ID, but there are some pictures and some other things," said John putting the duffle bag in an evidence bag,

"Has anyone found anything other them \n the duffle bag? Sean asked walking around the crime scene.

"Detectives Harrison, we found two shell casings, not far from where the victim was," said Officer Miller.

"The coroner said that the victim was killed by a single shot. That mean the killer fired two shots, but one hit someone else. It has to be here, in the same area where we found the victim," replied Sean still looking.

"We need to keep looking for that second bullet," said John to the other officers.

"We need to go back to the station and check the missing persons' database for any possible identity of the victims," replied Sean.

"I'll call Linh and have her go through the missing person file," said John.

"Every year the mayor and the governor are so afraid that the tourists are going to see the bad side of Honolulu," replied Sean.

"But every town has its bad side," replied John.

"That's true, but there're not known as the land of paradise," said Sean frowning at John.

Kalanee Road

"Now which way do we go?" asked Danny sitting at a stop light.

"Tony's is on the right and then there's several other bars on the street," replied Chris pointing to the right.

"" I can see that this is going to be lots of fun today. You want to talk about boring," replied Danny complaining.

"I don't see why you're complaining? We could be doing this undercover," replied Chris.

"Here's Tony's," said Danny pulling over to the curb.

"Let's start with checking the alley behind Tony's," replied Chris getting out of the car and starting down the alley.

Chris walked slowly down the alley behind Tony's. He looked behind the dumpster and in several cardboard boxes, where he found two men sleeping.

"Danny, call the station, we need some officers and a transport to move them to shelters. I'll keep looking," replied Chris.

"Kaleo is sending some officers to help. Did you find anyone else?" asked Danny.

"I didn't find any one else, but I keep hearing a moaning sound, it's like someone or something is hurt," replied Chris walking around the area.

"I'm sorry, I don't hear anything." Danny remarked following Chris.

"I know I heard something," said Chris moving some boxes.

"Chris, I have looked every where and I still don't hear anything," replied Danny looking at Chris.

"There it is again. I knew I wasn't hear things. It's coming from that pile of boxes near that wall," replied Chris running to the wall of boxes.

Chris started moving the boxes, as the moaning got louder. He moved several more and found the source of the moaning sound. He knelt down to check the man.

"Danny, call an ambulance, he's still alive and call Sean and John to meet us at the hospital," said Chris checking the man.

"An ambulance is on the way. How badly is he hurt? Danny asked.

"It looks like he's been beaten up pretty bad," said Chris.

"Chris, he doesn't look like he belongs here. His clothes are to new and he's to clean," replied Danny.

"There's no ID on him. His wallet is gone and it looks like he was wearing a watch. Who ever did this, it looks like they were trying to cover up the crime by taking his wallet and watch. They did it to make it look like a robbery," said Chris as they heard the ambulance arrive.

"Sean's here," replied Danny as he watched him walk to where they were standing.

"What do you have?" asked Sean getting out of the car.

"We were checking the alley and we heard this moaning sound. We found him under some boxes," replied Danny as Sean looked at the victim.

"He looks between forty and fifty. From the looks of his clothes, he hasn't been here long that's for sure. Do we know who the man was?" asked Sean.

"We don't have any idea who he is. If he was carrying a wallet they took it," said Danny.

"So we have another John Doe," said John.

"Chris, you and Danny talk to the owner of Tony's and see if anyone has seen him in the bar," said Sean.

"We'll need a picture of him?" asked Chris.

"Get the coroner to go to the hospital and take a picture of him and then show it around some of the bars. Some one had to see him," replied Sean looking at John who was talking on the phone.

"That was Linh, she has several pictures of men who have been reported missing in the last few months," said John.

"Sean, after we talk to the owner of Tony's. We'll go to the hospital and check on our John Doe," replied Chris looking at Sean.

"Okay, let me know when you find out anything on him. He may have seen his attacker," said Sean going over to where John was looking.

"I have looked all around here and I haven't found anything. Who ever this guy is, he fought his attacker," said John.

"I don't know what's going to happen next. This case just keeps getting bigger every day," replied Sean walking back to the car shaking his head.

"We'll go back to the station and see if one of those men is on our missing person list," replied John.

Sean drove to the station. He wanted this day to be over. He knew that John was watching him, but this has been a long day for him. He could hear the phone ringing and John answered it.

"That was Joe; he wants to see us when we get back. He found something when he started the autopsies on those two men. He doesn't know if it has anything to do with the case," said John.

"Did you tell him we would come down and see him when we got there?" asked Sean turning into the police lot.

"Yes, I told him. Your look like your tired?" John asked Sean.

"I am. I got the call at midnight. I had just gone to bed when the phone rang. I don't know if I can keep doing the job. I tell myself that everyday, but here I am and I'll be here tomorrow and the next day," replied Sean getting out of the car.

Honolulu Metro Police Dept.

"Linh, do you have those pictures?" asked Harada walking over to Linh's desk.

"Captain, I put them in a folder that's lying on my desk. I haven't had a chance to go through them," said Linh.

"Sean and John are on their way back to the station. Can you put the folder on Sean's desk," replied Harada going into his office.

Sean and John had just walked into the squad room as Linh laid the folder on Sean's desk.

"Linh is that the folder of pictures? Sean asked, sitting down at his desk.

"That's the folder in front of you. There are very many reports of men missing," replied Linh.

"Sean, Joe wants to see you as soon as you came in," said Kaleo walking over to his desk.

"We might as well go see Joe and find out what he has," replied John/

"Might as well. He may have something by now," said Sean going down the stairs.

Honolulu Community Hospital

"Excuse me, I'm detective Gaines and this detective Edwards, we need to find out the condition of a man that was brought in here about an hour ago," said Chris.

"Dr Hunter is in trauma room one with him. I'll let him know you're out here," said the nurse.

Chris and Danny sat in the waiting room patiently for the doctor to come out and see them. Chris looked at Danny who was reading a newspaper and wonder how he could just sit there. Chris knew that waiting was not one of his favorite things. He got up and walked to the door of the waiting room and looked to see if the doctor was coming.

"Chris, your pacing doesn't help. The doctor will tell us when he's done. You might as well sit down, it won't make him work any faster," replied Danny.

"Excuse me, I'm Dr. Hunter, are you the detectives that were asking about the man that was brought in?" asked the doctor.

"Yes we are. How is he?" asked Chris.

"He's lucky to be alive. If you hadn't found him when you did, he would have died from the injuries. Who ever did this was trying to kill him. He has a concussion, several broken ribs and his spleen has been ruptured. Right now he's in a coma and we're trying to get him stable, before we take him to surgery to remove his spleen. He has other injuries that will heal with time," replied the doctor.

"Doctor is there any way we can his belongings. We're hoping that we can find something that will tell us who he is," said Chris.

"I have had everything put in a bag. You can get them at the nurses' station. Is there a number that I can call you, so in case he should wake up?" stated the doctor.

"My number is on the card," said Danny handing the card to the doctor.

"We're going to post two officers to watch the victim. Just in case the person, who did this doesn't try and finish the job," said Chris as Danny walked back from the desk.

"I have the bag, we need to go back to the station and see if there is anything in his clothes that we could have missed," replied Danny going out the door.

Honolulu Metro Police Dept

"Sean, I'm glad to see that you could come down. There isn't too much too much right now to go on. Both men were killed with a thirty eight, it the angle of entry that got me. Both men are at least six feet. The killer had to be at least five two or five six. The killer was pointing up at an angle," said Joe.

"Are you sure of that?" asked Sean looking at Joe.

"Yes, I tested it on a mannequin, using the angle that the gun would have been. There is something else, I did a toxically screening on them and found traces of a drug in their system. I don't know the name of the drug yet, I'm waiting for the results of more tests. I noticed something else; these men haven't been on the island very long. They are not locals and I don't believe their tourist either," replied Joe.

"Why do you say that? How do you that? John asked.

"One of the victims was wearing a watch. I found the outline of a watch. You can barely see it, but I used a high powered magnifier to see the lines of the watch," replied Joe looking at Sean.

"Sean, you need to look at this. Joe these are the clothes the men were wearing?" asked John picking up a shirt and handing it to Sean.

"It has the emblem of a police badge, so what he could have gotten that from any place that was giving out clothes," said Sean.

"So you don't think it means any thing?" asked John.

"No, someone could have given him the clothes," said Sean.

"Then tell me what this means. I found it strapped to his leg close to the ankle" Replied Joe handing the small black wallet to Sean.

"What is it Sean?" asked John.

"It's a gold shield. The number is, it can't be," replied Sean looking at the men laying there.

Honolulu Metro Police Dept.

Danny and Chris had just walked into the squad room as they heard Sean talking to Harada. They walked past the captain's office to their desk. They couldn't help but noticed the look on Sean's face. Chris walked over to where John was standing.

"John, do you know what's going on in there?" asked Chris looking at John.

"We were down stairs getting a report from Joe on the first two victims, when he handed Sean a small wallet that he found on one of the victims. Sean went ballistic went he found a gold shield in the wallet. When he saw the number he knew that it was his former partners shield. He's been in there with the captain ever since," said John looking at the captains office.

"I want an answer, captain. That is Albert's badge. Is he one of those men downstairs?" asked Sean staring at Harada for an answer.

"Yes, that's Albert badge and he's one of the victims. Joe called me as soon as he found out that it was him. What he was doing, I don't know. When he decided to leave the force last year, he said that he was going to retire. I believed him, but a few months later he came to me and said that he was moving to California to live. That was the last time I saw him, till Joe told me," replied Harada.

"Captain, I don't know if I can do this any more," replied Sean laying his badge and gun down on Harada's desk, then turned and walked out of Harada's office.

"Sean!" replied John.

"You can't help me. No body can help me," replied Sean walking out of the squad room.

"Sean! Sean! John yelled as he watched Sean leave.

"Let him go. He needs some time alone," said Harada.

"That gold shield has something to do with the way he's acting, doesn't it?" asked John.

"That gold shield belonged to Sean's last partner Albert. He was supposed to be in California. We'll know as soon as Joe is done with the DNA test," replied Harada.

"Captain, the hospital gave us the clothes that the man was wearing. Dr. Hunter said that it would be a while before we can talk to him. He's in a coma from the injury to his head," said Chris taking everything out of the bag and laying it on the desk.

"Go through everything, the attacker may of left something behind," replied Harada walking back to his office.

"Captain, do you want me to go and make sure Sean's okay?" asked John.

"No! I called someone. There're going to check on him," said Harada.

Wakikki Road / Sean's Beach house

Sean drove down Wakikki Road to the beach house. He couldn't stop thinking about those two men and knowing that one of them was Albert. He turned into the driveway of the beach house, he kept thinking about how he had let his feelings take control of his life in the last few months. His hand trembled as he tried to put the key in the door to open it. He walked into the house and threw the keys down on the table and walked straight to the refrigerator and took a beer out of it. He opened it and threw the cap as hard as he could. He heard it hit as he drank the bottle of beer one after another.

"Sean, are you here," yelled Max as she walked into the house. Max looked around the room to see the empty beer bottles and broken ones. She shook her head and then she started to wonder where Sean was. Then she heard the sound of voices coming from the bedroom as she entered the room.

"Jake, what are you doing here?" asked Max.

"I came to get Nick's baseball glove. He left it here last week and he has practice. I saw Sean's car in the driveway, but when I came in the house, I didn't see him. I saw all the empty beer bottles and that's when I started looking for him. I found him in the bedroom. He's so drunk that he doesn't know anything," said Jake.

"Terry called me and he thought that Sean may be having problems. I haven't said anything to him, but his last few cases have gotten to him emotionally. This case he's working on now is affecting him pretty bad. One of the victims was carrying a gold shield. One of the men was Albert," replied Max going over to where Sean's was sitting on the floor.

"Max, are you going to be alright with him? I would stay and help, but Nick is waiting for me," replied Jake.

"I'll be fine, I just have to put him to bed and let him sleep it off. When he wakes up he wouldn't remember anything," replied Max.

"Do you want me to help clean up?" asked Jake.

"No! I can clean it up," said Max as Jake walked out of the house.

Max walked back into the bedroom and saw Sean trying to stand up. She got him to sit down on the edge of the bed, so that she could take his shoes off. He started to mumble as she laid him down on the bed.

"Sean, it's okay, just lay there," whispered Max.

"I don't know if I can do this anymore," muttered Sean.

"We'll talk about this when you wake up, just go to sleep now," replied Max kissing Sean on the forehead.

Honolulu Metro Police Dept.

"Have you guys found anything in the man clothes?" asked John walking over to Chris's desk.

"We just started looking. You want to help us?" asked Danny.

"So what are we looking for?" asked John.

"Anything that will help us to identify the man in the hospital," replied Chris taking the clothes out of the bag.

"One thing is for sure, he wasn't a tourist. Just from the look of his clothes can tell you that," said John.

"Have you found anything yet?" asked Harada coming out of his office.

"Nothing yet, but we haven't given up. The attacker had to of missed something," said Danny looking at Harada.

"I think I just found it. I found a matchbook in one of his socks. There's a telephone number inside of the cover," said Chris.

"Joe found the shield strapped to the ankle of one of the two men that we found earlier. Now a book of matches is found on this man. Who would do something like this?" asked Danny.

"Someone who is trying to protect his identity if he were undercover," replied Harada.

"The name isn't a local one; it says O'Malley's on it," said Chris.

"The matchbook could be his contact, but you said there was a number inside the cover okay. Give me the matchbook and I'll call the number," replied Harada walking back into his office.

"Do you think that is an undercover officer?" asked Kaleo.

"More than likely he is," said John.

"So why is Harada calling the number? Danny asked.

"Because he's the boss and he's the perfect choice to make the call," said Chris.

Terry sat down at his desk and opened the cover. From the look of the cover it was a bar, owned by a retired cop by the name of O'Malley. Terry dialed the number and waited for someone to answer it. Just as he was about to give up on someone answering it, a woman's voice answered the phone.

"This is Smith and Jones, may I help you," said the woman.

"This Captain Harada of the Honolulu Metro Police Dept. I was given this matchbook and told to call the number inside of the cover," said Harada.

"Just one minute captain and I'll get Mr. Smith on the phone for you," replied the woman.

"This is Mr. Smith, can I help you? He asked.

"We have found two of your men. One is dead and the other one is in serious condition," said Harada.

"I'm sorry, but I don't have any idea what you're talking about. This is a law office," said Smith.

"I guess I'll have to call your boss, because one off the men I know," replied Harada.

"Alright, we do have an undercover operation in Honolulu.
It started in New York and then they moved the operation to Los Angeles. Captain, may I ask you how you knew of us?" asked Smith.

"A year ago, you recruited one of my detectives, because he was retiring. I'm sorry to say that he's one of the men we found dead. I need to know just how many men you have working undercover on this case?" asked Harada.

"There were three men sent to Hawaii as part of the operation. Six months ago an operative in Columbia warned us that there were major problems in the drug cartel. A new drug lord was trying to take control of the cartel, but the Columbian army was fighting back with everything they had. We had an insider that told us that he was going to move the operations out of the country. We tracked him to New York. After starting operations there, he moved to Los Angeles and that's where our agents took over. They followed them to Honolulu and that's where we lost contact with our agents," said Smith.

"How many agents were there? Harada asked.

"There were three of them," replied Smith.

"Two days ago my men found three men. Two of them were dead and the third one was beaten pretty badly. My men found the matchbook on the third man," said Harada

"Now we're back to square one. It took six months to set this undercover operation up. Albert was the main ma, because he knew the islands like the back of his hand," replied Smith.

"What if I could help? Would you agree to it? Harada asked.

"How can you help you help me? Smith asked.

"I have four detectives who work undercover when they have to. One of my men was a marine, assigned to special ops," replied Harada.

"How do you know he will do this?" asked Smith.

"Because, he was Albert's last partner," replied Harada.

"I'll leave for Hawaii today. Our main goal is to bring this drug lord and stop the flow of drugs. I'll explain more when I get there, but you can fill your men in on what they will be dong," replied Smith.

Harada opened his door and asked for Linh to come to his office. She stopped what she was doing and walked over to his office.

"Linh, Tell John, Chris, Danny and Kaleo I need to see them in my office," said Harada as Linh closed the door behind him.

"The captain wants to see all of you in his office. You too Kaleo," replied Linh.

"Did he say what he wanted?" asked John.

"I didn't ask the captain what he wanted, I just did what we wanted me to do and he wants all of you in his office now," said Linh.

They walked into the captain's office. Harada was looking at a picture hanging on the wall. He heard the door close and he turned around.

"I was just looking at the picture of detectives Mitchell on the day he retired. What I'm about to tell you, stays in this office. I just got off the phone with agent Smith of the DEA. The two men that you found dead were working undercover with DEA. Before you ask me Chris, yes the man in the hospital is also DEA. Arrangements are being made to move him to unknown area. Agent Smith will be here to take charge of the operations," replied Harada.

"What are we talking about?" asked Chris.

"We're talking about a drug cartel that has been on the move from Columbia to the U.S. The DEA learned that there was a new drug lord, he has set up operations in his home country and now he has set up operations in Hawaii. Agent Smith believes that he may be trying to establish himself on one of the outer islands. You're going to be working with him. He needs people who know the islands and will fit in," replied Harada.

"Captain, do you want me to go to the beach house and let Sean know what's happened?" asked John.

"No, I will go to his place and talk to him. I should have told him what detective Mitchell was going to be doing in the first place, but I couldn't tell anyone that he had been recruited by the DEA," replied Harada looking at the picture

Sean's beach house

Sean could feel the early morning sun hit his face, as it came through the window. He sat up on the edge of the bed, holding his head in his hands. He could feel the pain from the throbbing in his head. He looked around the room, to see Max sitting in one of the chairs asleep. What did I do, that Max would have to come to the house he thought. He walked out into the living room and looked around. Then he noticed the trash can in the kitchen. I remember now, I started with one beer and then there was one more followed by another one. That's why Max is here, someone must have called her. He heard Max's voice and turned around to see her standing in the doorway.

"How do you feel after your little binge?" asked Max.

"You didn't have to ask me that, you know that I have a hangover. How did you know I was here? Sean asked.

"Terry called me and said that he was worried about you. He was afraid of what you would do after finding Albert dead," replied Max.

"I didn't know what to do or how I even felt after finding his gold shield. I just felt like I couldn't take it any more. Some of my cases have left me with a haunting feeling in the last few weeks. I was afraid that something would happen with one of them and that I might not come home to you, Nick or the girls," said Sean.

"I worry every time you go out the door, if you're going to come home, but I know that it's one of the risks I have to take for being involved with you," said Max as she watched Sean looking out the sliding doors.

"When I was driving here, I kept thinking about all the reasons for my joining the force. Then I remembered that day I stood in front of the judge and listen to what he was offering me. I came out of the army a different person. I joined the force to help people and however the case may go, I can't let it affect me. That's why I'm going to stay with the dept," said Sean.

"I'm glad to hear you say that. I would hate to see you quit," replied Harada standing in the doorway.

"How long have been standing there?" asked Sean.

"Long enough to hear what you said," replied Harada.

"Finding that shield just set off some bad feelings that I have been having, but I came here and thought about everything that's happen," said Sean.

"I see that you had a few beers to help you think," replied Harada looking at the empty bottles.

"Is there a reason for you coming here?" asked Sean.

"I came to ask you, if you would head of a task force. You will be responsible for finding the men responsible for Albert's death and the other man that was found. I'm leaving a file for you to read. It will explain everything. You will be working with John, Chris, Danny and Kaleo. If you have any questions you can call me at my office. I have to tell you, not to talk to anyone about what's in that file," said Harada walking out the door.

A House on the island of Maui

The dark haired man stood on the edge of the cliff, watching as the waves came in and hit the rocks below. He stood there thinking about his family and home that he had left behind, but he had no choice.

"What Do you want Carlos?" asked the dark haired man.

"What you ordered has been taking care of," replied Carlos standing there.

"Have the guards been given their orders?" asked the man.

"Yes. When will your family be arriving? Carlos asked.

"They are not coming, my wife says that they will stay in Columbia for their safety," said the man.

"If she was anyone else's wife she would do as she was told," replied Carlos.

"I have agreed with her and that is the end of it," said the man turning back to look at the waves.

Carlos walked back to the house. He stopped and turned to look at his brother. He was worried about him. They had barely made it out of New York. Carlos turned back and walk toward the house.

"Carlos, wait for me. I will walk with you to the house. I need to get my mind back on the business and not worry about my family. Sofia will take care of them," said the dark haired man.

"Miguel, the men sent to check the airstrips should be back," replied Carlos.

"When is the first plane arriving?" asked Miguel looking at Carlos.

"The first plane is scheduled to arrive the day after tomorrow. With the DEA agents out of the way, we shouldn't have any problems," replied Carlos.

"I expect everything to go as planned, I don't want anything to go wrong," said Miguel looking at Carlos with a stern look on his face.

Sean's Beach house

"I can't believe what I'm reading. This says that he was approached by a man to go undercover. He's been working undercover with a drug cartel. According to this he was working with two other agents," said Sean.

"Now that you have read part of that file, are you going to do what Harada asked? Max Asked.

"I need to call the captain and give him my answer. I have decided that I have to find the person who killed Albert," replied Sean picking up the phone.

Honolulu Metro Police Dept.

"This is Harada. Do you have an answer to my question Sean?" asked Harada.

"I'll head the task force. Can you ask the others to come to the beach house and tell Kaleo to wear street clothes," said Sean.

"Do you think that there is something wrong?" asked Harada.

"I' m not sure, but there may be and I don't want to take a chance," replied Sean.

"I agree. We need to take every precaution that we can. I don't want anything to happen here. The guys are leaving now," replied Harada going to the door and yelled for Gaines and Edwards.

"What did you want?" asked Chris as they walking toward the captain.

"Kaleo and Linh, I need for you to come in here too," replied Harada.

"Does this have to do with the case we're working on now? Danny asked.

"Yes, it does. I want you to go to Sean's beach house. He will explain everything to you. There has been a task force set up. Sean is in charge. Kaleo and Linh you're to wear street clothes from now on, till the investigation is over. No one is to be seen coming to the station. We don't know who could be watching," said Harada.

"Linh, we'll go ahead out to Sean's and you and Kaleo can follow," said Chris.

"I need to wait for Kaleo to change and maybe we shouldn't show up all together anyway," replied Linh.

"We'll meet you there," said Danny as they walked out the door.

Sean's beach house.

"Max, I have to ask you something? If we're going undercover as a rival drug cartel, we need to have a place that looks like we have money," replied Sean looking at Max.

"The hotel has another penthouse in the south wing of the hotel. You could use it. If you need more men, I'm sure that Jeff could help you there," replied Max.

"Does that penthouse have its own elevator?" asked Sean.

"Yes it does. If you're worried about our safety, I can make sure that we're safe," replied Max going to answer the door.

"Hey Sean, the others are coming," replied John walking in the door.

"Where are the others?" asked Sean closing the door.

"Chris and Danny were just leaving and Linh is waiting for Kaleo," replied John.

"Sean. I'm going back to the hotel and talk to Jeff about what we discussed. I'll call you when we have everything set up. I want you to be careful. You don't know what you don't know what these are like," replied Max hugging Sean.

"I'll be careful and if you have to take the girls and go to Jakes," replied Sean kissing Max before she left.

"Sean, I didn't want to say anything in front of Max, but you look like you've had a rough night," said John looking around the room.

"I wasn't in the best of moods, after leaving the station yesterday. When I got here, I started drinking. The captain called Max and by the time she got here, I was so drunk, I didn't even know anything. Max found me in the bedroom, lying on the floor. She got me into bed and then she started panicking and you know the answer," said Sean.

"Yeah I do, being a cop is in your blood and there's no way to get it out no matter what happens," replied John as the front door opened.

"Are we talking about being cop? Try being a cop and having a date. I always get a call from dispatcher, just when we're in the mood," replied Danny walking in the door.

"Who even has a chance to get in the mood," replied Chris following Danny.

"All we're waiting for is Linh and Kaleo," said Sean.

"They were pulling up in the driveway, just as we got out of the car," replied Danny as they heard the door open.

"Did I hear somebody ask about Linh and Kaleo? Ask Kaleo.

"We're here, if you want to explain to us what's going to happen," said Linh.

"Everyone sit down. The folder I'm handing out to you, I need you to read it. In the last few weeks a drug cartel has moved to the islands, but we don't know which one. The three men that were found have been identified. I'm afraid to say that detective Mitchell is one of the men in the morgue. DEA is running an investigation on this cartel. These men were working undercover with the cartel. We don't know what happened or why two of them were killed," said Sean.

"You just said something, there were three agents working undercover, but we only found two of them dead and then there's the one in the hospital," said Chris.

"He could have been beaten and left there for dead," said Linh looking at Sean.

"Why just leave him like that, why didn't they kill him too?" asked Chris.

"Either he's working with the cartel or they wanted us to find him, as a warning," replied John.

"We have to find out then. Also we will be working out of the Hawaiian Hotel. Max is setting up everything with her security people. You all know Jeff; he will be in charge of her people. They are going to working with us undercover. The penthouse in the south wing will be headquarters till this investigation is over. We want these men to think that we're bigger than them. That's why we need to let them think that we own the hotel and casino. One think, you all will be staying at the hotel. No one goes anywhere alone. The first thing we have to do is found out which island they are on. Chris and Danny I want you to go to the hospital and see if we can talk to the man," said Sean.

"If we can't go home, what do we do about clothes?" asked Danny.

"Jeff and his men are taking care of that. You will find clothes in your rooms that you will be required to wear," said Sean.

"How do we find these guys?" asked Kaleo.

"I have men out now looking for them. We know that their not on the big island, so they have to be on one of the outer islands. We have tourist planes flying over the islands looking. Just remember that everything we discussed in this room stays here," replied Sean picking up the phone.

"Sean, this Harada, one of the planes circling the island of Maui, spotted an abandon house that seems to have a lot of activity for being abandon. You might want to check it out, but I think you have your man. Just remember to be careful," replied Harada.

"We will," replied Sean looking at the others standing in the living room."

"Yeah, I do, being a cop is in your blood and no matter what happens, we can't quit," replied John.

"Are we having a talk about being a cop?"

The Hawaiian Hotel/ The South Wing Penthouse

"Max, everything is ready. I called the backup security and explained to them that they will be working the casino and hotel, till Sean is done with us," replied Jeff.

"Did you tell them that they will receive bonuses for doing this," replied Max.

"I told them that there would be bonuses for doing this. You know Max, they would do this for you. All you have to do is ask," replied Jeff

"I know that they would go to any risk for me. Jeff, has an elevator been made secure for the south wing penthouse?" asked Max.

"There are four elevators in the south wing. We took the fourth one and made some changes in it. It works now, just like yours. You will need security code to use it. . The only ones that will know it, will be Sean and his people and my security people," replied Jeff.

"Sean and the others should be here soon. I can only imagine what they look like after changing there imagine," said Max.

"My men are wearing suits as part of the cover," said Jeff.

"Does Sean know the code for the elevator? Max asked.

"I called him and gave it to him. You have that look Max; I thought that you didn't want to know the code? Jeff asked, looking at Max.

"I changed my mind," said Max.

"The code is the same as yours. Sean had me set it up that way," replied Jeff.

Sean's beach house

"Chris and Danny go to the hospital and see if the third man is awake and able to talk. We're going to set up at the penthouse, join us there when you have talked to him. At the hotel make sure that you talk to Jeff, he will give you the code," replied Sean picking up the ringing phone.

"This Harada, we think we have a couple leads on this drug cartel. A pilot, who flies tours of the islands, says that he was flying over the island of Maui. There's an old plantation on the island that is a big tourist attraction. It once was owned by one of the first families to live in Hawaii. He said that when he flew over it, he noticed that there several cars and that he saw men standing around the walls. He was going to fly around again, when they started shooting at him. That's when he noticed the plane. I had someone check and there an old airstrip not to far from the house," replied Harada.

"That means the drugs are being flown in," said Sean.

"Officer Raines was contacted by Manny at the coffee stand. He needs to talk to you," said Harada.

"Did Raines say why Manny need to talk to me?" asked Sean.

"Manny just said that he needed to talk to you," said Harada.

"I'll have a couple of Jeff's guys pick him up and bring him to the hotel. I can't take the chance that they could be watching," replied Sean.

"That way if men are watching, they would think that Manny works for you," replied Harada.

The house on Maui

"Miguel, Ramone called and said that the next shipment is on its way. It should be here in the next couple of days," replied Carlos.

"Carlos I heard a plane flying over the house. What was it doing here?" asked Miguel.

"It looked like one of those tourist planes that we saw at the airport," replied Carlos.

"Just make sure that one of those planes doesn't land. I don't want any trouble," said Miguel.

"I will make sure of that," said Carlos walking out the door.

"What's wrong with you? You haven't been acting right since we left New York," replied Ramone.

"I think that Miguel was wrong in coming here. This isn't the right place for the kind of business we're in. We don't know what kind of competition we have here," said Carlos.

"We need to go to the big island and check things out. See what the local drug dealers are doing as far as business is," replied Ramone.

"I agree, so Ramone I want you and some of the boys to take a trip to Honolulu and find out what you can," said Miguel going back into the room.

"Ramone, you'll have to take the boat to the next island and then take a plane to Honolulu. Stay at a hotel that's outta of the way. You and the others should dress like the locals. You'll have to buy some clothes. Just find out what you can. ," said Carlos.

The Hawaiian Hotel

"Who picked up Manny?" asked Sean turning into the driveway.

"Jeff's men did, they brought him to the hotel and someone is sitting in the penthouse with him," replied John getting out of the car.

"Have the others gotten here?" asked Sean walking in the front door.

As Sean stood there three men walked up to him. We have orders to check you for any guns," said the man.

"Do you know who I am?" asked Sean.

"Yes we do, but you could have a wire on you and my boss wouldn't like that," said Jeff smiling at Sean.

"If I didn't know better, I would say that you're enjoying playing the bad guy," replied Sean looking at Jeff.

"It's just the same job, but with a little more excitement in it. Manny is waiting for you in the penthouse," replied Jeff.

Sean and John walked to the elevator and entered the code for the door to open. They stepped inside and the door closed behind them.

"John, has anyone seen anyone that looks out of place?" asked Sean.

"Two officers called Harada and reported to him that they saw four men getting off a private plane. They asked an airport official where the plane from. He wasn't sure; they didn't have a flight plan. He said that the plane couldn't have come from far away. He thought that maybe, it had come from one of the outer islands," replied John.

"Harada told me that one of his pilots flew over the island of Maui and found men at the old sugar cane plantation. He went to fly over again, but shots were fired at him. So he flew out the area," replied Sea out of the elevator,

"Do you think they are the drug cartel?" asked John.

"Yes, you don't have that many guns unless you're trying to protect someone or hide something," said Sean opening the door of the penthouse.

"Sean, we went to the hospital to talk to the third man, we found out the he was gone. The doctor treating him said that two men came to the hospital yesterday and said that they were taking him for his protection," replied Chris.

"Do you us to go looking for him?" asked Danny.

"Do you want us to look for him?" asked Chris.

"No! He's probably dead by now," said Sean.

"You don't think he's the third DEA agent do you?" asked John.

"No I don't. There is something wrong here. I think that the man you found is really a plant. That would explain why he wasn't killed, but who took him from the hospital?" asked Sean.

"If he's not the third agent, then who is he?" asked John as they turned to see a man come out of the bedroom.

"He's a member of the Columbian government drug task force working undercover," said agent Smith.

'Who are you?" asked Danny.

"I'm Agent Smith with the DEA. Captain Harada called me and told me everything. At first I wasn't sure that you could do this, but now that I have met you all, I think that you could do it," replied agent Smith.

"We don't know the identity of the third agent who went undercover," replied Smith.

"He could send us something that would let us know who he is," said Sean.

"Sean, Manny is waiting for us in the other room," said Linh as she watched Sean go in to the room.

"Manny, they said that you needed to talk to me. So what do you have for me?" asked Sean.

"The other these two men came into the coffee shop and asked for a certain kind of coffee. I told them that I didn't carry it, but that I could get it. I told him that it would take a few days to get it and what the cost of it would be. He ordered some and said that he would pay the price," replied Manny.

"What kind of coffee did they want? It was a blend of coffee that you can only get from Columbia. I did notice that there was something different about them. There were four of them, two came in and asked about the coffee. The other two men stayed out in front of the store. The two in the store spoke in Spanish when talking to each other. After they ordered the coffee they left," replied Manny.

"Manny, if you hear anymore, just call the captain and he will get in touch with us," said Sean walking out of the bedroom.

"Did Manny have anything that we could use?" asked John.

"Yes he did. Linh, I need for you to take Manny back to his coffee shop. Danny, can you go with her? Sean asked as Linh left with Manny.

"The captain called me and told me about what the tourist plane pilot saw when he flew over the island of Maui. I think that we have found out, where the drug cartel is located. He told the captain that he saw at least twenty men around the outside of the house. The pilot says the house is part of the old Desmond estate. No one has lived there for at least forty years. There is an old airstrip not to far from the house," replied Sean.

"It would be easy for them to fly drugs in to that airstrip with out any one knowing it," said Sean.

"Sean, that was Jack on the phone. There are four men at the main desk. They want to know if the hotel has any penthouses. Jack told them that they would have to talk to the owner," replied John.

"Chris, call the desk and tell Jack I'm on my way down. Let Jeff know that I need him to meet me at the elevator with some men," replied Sean walking out the door followed by Chris and Kaleo.

Lobby of the Hotel

"The boss is on his way down. You can wait for him or in the bar," said Jack.

"We'll wait for him here, gracias senor," replied Ramone.

Sean stood there waiting for the elevators door to open. He could only wonder why they wanted to rent a penthouse, if they were working out of the Desmond house, but then he realized they needed some place to distribute the drugs. The door opened and Sean stepped out of the elevator with Chris Kaleo following him. He walked over to where Jack was standing.

"Where are these men, who wanted to see me?" asked Sean.

"There are standing over there by the entrance to the bar," replied Jack who watched Sean walking over to there they were standing.

"Excuse me, gentlemen. I'm the owner Sean. You wanted to see me," replied Sean.

"Do you have a place that we can talk in private?" asked Ramone.

"We can talk in my office," replied Sean walking to the office that was Jack's.

"I need to know if you have a penthouse that can be rented?" asked Ramone sitting down in the chair.

"There is only one penthouse in the hotel and I use it, but we have another set of rooms in the south wing that can be used as a penthouse. If you would like to see it, one of my men will take you to see it," said Sean.

"That will not be necessary. I will take the rooms," replied Ramone handing Sean an envelope as he left the office.

"Jack, we'll you have someone show them to the smaller penthouse," said Sean going back to the elevator.

"What's in the envelope?" asked John walking into the elevator.

"I don't know, Guess I'll find out when we get back to the penthouse," said Sean as the door closed behind them.

"He was pretty stranger. He didn't ask about what kind of security we had or if he could provide his own. The looks of those guys, I would have to say that he has his own. Something else I expected him to speak in Spanish to his men, but he didn't and he spoke pretty good English," replied John as the elevator door open.

"There was something different about him alright. It's like he didn't fit in with them," replied Chris following Sean into the penthouse.

"Maybe what's in this envelope will explain everything," said Sean opening the envelope.

"Well what's in the envelope?" asked John.

"It's a government ID for Colonel Luis Valdez. There's a letter explaining who he is and that he has been working undercover with this drug cartel for the last five years and that he needs to talk to us. He says that he knows that I'm a cop with the Honolulu police. He says that he knows this information from talking to Mitchell. Then who was the man Agent Smith moved from the hospital?" asked Sean looking at John.

"We'll be there when you come down," replied Jeff as he motioned his men to the elevator.

The Desmond House on Maui

The black car drove up to the gate. The man sat quiet in the back seat. The driver waited patiently for the man standing there to open the gate. Then he drove up to the driveway and parked the car. He got out of the front seat and opened the back door as the man stepped out of the car. The dark haired man standing at the window could see him walking to the house. He heard the sound of one of his men as he opened the door.

"Is Santos here? I need to talk to him," replied the man in an angry tone of voice.

"He is in the library. Can I asked why you need to talk to him?" asked Carlos.

"I need to talk to him, that's all you need to know," replied the man as the doors to the library opened up.

"It's alright Carlos, I will talk to him. Carlos I need you to take some men with you, the first plane is arriving today," replied Miguel in a calmed voice walking back into the room.

"Santo's, I spent months setting this operation up and your men dumped the bodies of those two agents where they could be found. They beat third agent up and left him for dead and a couple of cops found him. I had to take care of him. I don't need anything else happening here," replied the man.

"Then you should of taken care of the matter," said Miguel looking at the man.

"I thought your men could do the job, since they seemed to be so tough, but your men are not why I'm here. You said that there was a plane landing. Shouldn't you be there when it lands?" asked the man.

"No, I can trust Carlos to get the job done right," replied Miguel pouring himself a glass of brandy.

"How soon can you have it ready for the dealers?" asked the man.

"Maybe tomorrow or the next day. It depends on how much time Carlos has to get it ready," said Miguel.

"Let me know when it's ready," replied the man.

"Answer this one question for me? How can you betray your government and kill those men that were your friends?" asked Miguel.

"It was easy. I have watched drug dealers with their fancy cars, the houses and the money they make. So it was easy and those men, they never were my friends," said the man walking out of the room.

Carlos stood there waiting outside of the library doors. He could hear the two men talking. Then he watched as the dark haired stranger left. He didn't like the man and the way he talked to Miguel.

"Carlos, why are you standing there listening to my conversation?" asked Miguel.

"I was listening, because I don't trust him. How do you know he wouldn't betray you, he betrayed his own men," said Carlos.

"How long will it take your men to start working on it? Miguel asked looking at Carlos.

"They have started now. It shouldn't take them more than two days to get it ready," replied Carlos as he started to leave the room.

"Carlos, I don't trust him either," replied Miguel as Carlos stopped and turned to look at him.

The South Wing Penthouse

"Sean, do you believe what this Ramone told you?" asked John.

"I don't know, he could have gotten that ID from the real Valdez, but something tells me that he's telling the truth. I have two of Jeff's men watching them," said Sean as the penthouse door opened and Chris and Danny walked in.

"We were watching the island, when we saw a plane land. They unloaded several large boxes from the plane. From the looks of the guards around the plane, it had to be carrying the drugs," said Danny.

"Did anyone see you?" John asked.

"No! We looked like every other fishing boat out there. Except when were coming back in, we caught something in the net. We pulled the net on board and it was the body of the man in the hospital," replied Chris.

"Didn't agent Smith tell us that he moved the man from the hospital for his own safety," said John.

"Yes, he did tell us, he also told us that he was part of the Columbian army task force. That means this Ramone is really who says he is," replied Sean.

"That means he was the third DEA agent," said John.

"I need to talk to this Ramone. I need to know what he knows. Chris and Danny go to his penthouse and let him that I need to talk to him," replied Sean.

Danny and Chris walked to the penthouse where Ramone and his men. Chris knocked on the door and waited for someone to come to the door.

"What do you want? The man asked standing there in the door.

"My boss would like to see your boss. He's to come with us to the penthouse," replied Chris.

"I will tell him," replied the man walking away from the door.

Chris and Danny stood in the hallway waiting for answer to their question...when the man known as Ramone came to the door.

"I will go with you. They don't want me to, because they think that something will happen to me, but I trust you boss," said Ramone walking with Chris and Danny back to the elevator.

Sean stood there looking out the window and wishing he could see Max and the girls, but she and Jake had taken the kids to where they could be safe. Sean turned around when he heard the door open.

"You wanted to see me?" asked Ramone walking in the door.

"Yes, I have some questions that maybe you can answer for me," said Sean.

"If I can, I'll try to answer them," said Ramone sitting down on the sofa.

"Who is the man behind the cartel? Sean asked.

"There are two men, they are brothers. Miguel and Carlos Santos, they took over control of the cartel when their father was killed by another drug lord," said Ramone looking at Sean.

"During the early 90's didn't the government get control of the drugs in your country?" asked Sean.

"Yes they did, but it was a slowly process. Most of the army was loyal to the drug lords. The president only had a few officers that he could trust. He ordered them to recruit a new army. My father was one of those officers. Within a year they had a new army. There was only one thing, know one knew who the new army was. They infiltrated the drug cartels and one by one took control. A few of them manage to survive. The Santo's cartel is one of those," replied Ramone.

"When did you become a part of the cartel?" asked Sean.

"It has been four years now. It took me a while to build up a trust with Miguel," said Ramone.

"You said that someone told you about me?" asked Sean.

"Your friend Mitchell told me all about you. I learned that he had been a cop here. I had learned several months before I met him, that there were DEA agents with in the cartel. By this time we had already made the move to New York. He came to me after arriving there, that he was afraid that he and the other two had been discovered, but I told him that wasn't possible and not to worry. That's when Miguel told me that we were coming to Hawaii to set up operations after we left Los Angeles. The last time I saw Mitchell, he told me about you and that if I needed to talk to you, to see Manny. He said that he ran a coffee shop," replied Ramone.

"So, that's your reason for going to Manny's," replied Sean.

"Yes, it is," said Ramone.

"I'm beginning to understand now. Do you know who killed Mitchell? Sean asked.

"I have an idea, but I'm not sure. I have heard that there is someone else working with Miguel in setting up the operations here," said Ramone.

"I think that I know who it is. It was something that he said in this very room. Is there a way for me to meet this Miguel?" asked Sean.

"If there is a way that you can help him, he will meet with you," replied Ramone.

"Tell him that I can help set up his operations on the islands," replied Sean.

"I'll set up a meeting with Miguel and let you explain what you can do for him," replied Ramone standing up and walking to the door.

"Just let me know when the meeting is," replied Sean as he watched Ramone leave.

"Sean, you have that look on your face that usually means there's something wrong," replied John looking at Sean.

"Is it that obvious, I stood here and listen to everything he said. All of it was a lie. He killed Mitchell, Abbott and Hayes," said Sean.

"What do you mean by he killed them?" asked John.

"Agent Smith, he told us that he moved the man from the hospital for his own safety, because he was the Columbian army man, but when Chris and Danny found him floating in the water just off the island of Maui. Harada called me and said they have identified the body that they found. It's Agent Hayes," replied Sean.

"That means Agent Smith is working for the cartel," replied John.

"Right now Smith has no idea that we know. The most important thing that we have is stopping this new flow of drugs to the streets," said Sean.

The Beach at Molakai

Chris and Danny wait for the men who were walking toward them.

"We can't do anything if we don't know when they planned to distribute the drugs on the streets," said Danny watching as the got closer.

"If anyone knows when they will be distributed, it's these guys," replied Chris as the two walked up to where they were standing.

"Hey man, I haven't seen you in a while. What do you need?" asked the young man.

"We have been hearing that there is a new drug being sold on the streets and we wanted to get in on the money end of it," said Chris.

"We heard that to. From what we have been told that it's suppose to be on the streets in two days," said the young man.

"Where is it coming from?" asked Danny.

"The talk is Columbia. The quality of it is suppose to be the best that you can buy," replied the young man.

"Thanks man, I owe you one for the information," said Chris turning to walk back to the car.

"Does he realize that your a cop? Asked Danny starting the car.

"Yes, we grew up together. His dad was the reason I became a cop. He use to tell me that being a cop met something and he was proud to be one. So when I joined the academy. Two weeks later he came to me and asked me to watch out for Steve. he told me that he and his partner were working on a case and they didn't know what would happen. Two weeks after I graduated, they caught in an ambushed, they both were killed," replied Chris turned around walked back to the car.

Danny followed Chris back to the car and sat down in the drivers seat.

The Desmond House on Maui

"Miguel, did you send for me? Carlos asked.

"Yes, Ramone has set up a meeting with one of the local bosses, for today. I need for you to accompany me to this meeting," said Miguel.

"I can go with you. If your worried about the drugs being ready on time. They will be," replied Carlos.

"As soon as operations are going here, I'm going back to Columbia, where I belong" Said Miguel.

"Why do you want to go back?" asked Carlos.

"Because that's what I want. I never wanted to be a part of this, but when father was killed by the Montoya's over control of the cartel. I had no choice, but now I just want to go home. I want to spend time with Sohfia and the children. When I leave you will be in charge Carlos," replied Miguel.

The South Wing Penthouse

"We have to let Sean know when they plan to put the drug on the street," said Chris opening the soor.

"Danny, Chris what did you find out?" asked Sean.

"He said that the drug is expected to be out on the streets in two days," replied Chris.

"We need to act fast in order to stop it from making it to the streets," said Sean.

"We saw Ramone in the lobby. He looked like he was leaving," said Danny.

"He was going to pick up Miguel Santos and bring him here for meeting with me," replied Sean who noticed Linh on the phone.

"Sean, that was Harada. He got a call from a pilot flying over the Desmond house. He says that it sounds like a war going on out there. He tried to get another look, but someone started shooting at him. The captain is sending a helicopter. He wants us to get out there fast," replied Linh.

"We have to go, Ramone could be walking into an ambush," said John.

Ramone could hear the continouus firing of gunshots as the helicopter came closer to the house.

"When we land be prepared to move fast. We don't know whats happen," said Ramone as the helicopter landed near the house.

Ramone and his men worked their way to the house. He tried the french doors and they opened to the living room. Ramone started to move the foyer of the house, when he noticed a body. They walked over to where it laid. It was the body of Miguel. Ramone turned around at sound of footsteps coming closer. Ramone motioned his men to hide. He could hear Carlos voice from where he was. He didn't like the sound of it.

"Miguel, I didn't want to do this, but you have become weak. I had no choice, but to get rid of you and take charge of the cartel," replied Carlos with a angry tone in his voice.

Ramone face turned to shock at hearing Carlos say that he had no choice but to kill Miguel. He could hear the sounds of sirens. He heard yelling as Carlos tried to leave the house. He motioned to his men to move out. He needed to stop the shooting and captured Carlos. He was standing in the doorway when he noticed the helicopter and heard Sean's voice over the sounds of the helicopter.

"When we land, it may be hard to know who the enemy is, just be careful," said Sean as he looked down on what he saw.

"It looks like a war zone down there," replied John.

Sean picked up the microphone and yelled HPD to those on the ground as Chris and Danny jumped out. They ran for cover, returning fire as they ran for the house. Sean and John followed then, where they found Ramone and his men.

"Ramone what happened here?" asked Sean.

"Carlos killed Miguel and took over the cartel. I heard him say something about a plane at the airstrip. He must be planning to take it and leave. The drugs are probably on it. Agent Smith hasn't been seen," said Ramone.

"We'll worry about Smith later, right now we have to stop Carlos from leaving," said Sean firing back.

"Sean, this Linh in the helicopter. There's a car headed for the airstrip and the driver looks like he's in a hurry," replied Linh.

"They have Carlos spotted he's headed for the plane," yelled Sean.

"We can catch him in the jeep, let's go," replied Ramone running to the jeep followed by Sean.

Ramone turned on the road that led to the airstrip. Sean could see the car ahead as it drove up to the plane. Carlo's got out of the car and started for the plane. Ramone drove faster, not wanting to lose Carlo's who had boarded the plane. They watched as the plane started to taxi down the runway, then suddenly stopped.Ramone and Sean watched as the door to the plane opened and Carlo's came walking down in handcuffs followed by Kaleo.

"Where did you come from?" asked Sean, with a surprised look on his face.

"Linh and I thought that they may try and leave in the plane, so she had Marty drop us off at the plane," said Kaleo smiling.

"He's one of your people?" asked Ramone, taking custody of Carlo's as he put him in the car.

"Yes, this is Kaleo," replied Sean.

"I'm glad he is. I'd hate to come up against him," said Ramone looking at Kaleo.

"We need to get back to the house and try and stop this war," said Sean getting in the car.

"This probably started when Miguel was killed. Some of the men were loyal to him and then there were others loyal to Carlos," replied Ramone.

"Chris, whats the situation there? Asked Sean over the radio.

"They have stopped shooting at each other. We have most of them in handcuffs. I had Marty call for backup to help move the prisoners," replied Chris.

Sean drove back with Ramone, who sat in the back seat with Carlos.

"What will happen to Carlos, now that he has killed his brother? Asked Sean as he turned into the driveway of the house.

"He will stand trial for murder in his country and for dealing drugs, but when his family finds out that he has killed his brother, he will never make to trial. They will find a way to kill him. What will you do with agent Smith? Ramone asked.

"He has know idea that we know about his dealings with the cartel. We have men at the airport, but he hasn't showed up. " Said Sean getting out of the car.

"Sean, Harada is sending someone to fly the plane to Honolulu and the coast guard is waiting down at the pier for the prisoners. The captain sent some men up and they took them to the coast guard cutter," replied Chris.

"Ramone, your men are with the cutter. Marty is waiting with the helicopter for us," replied Chris.

"Where's John and Danny?" Sean asked.

"They went with Ramone's men on the cutter," said Chris.

"We need to go to the station and start the hunt for Smith. I know what your thinking and I'll send Joe back to get the body of Miguel," said Sean as he sat down in the seat of the helicopter.

"Thank you," said Ramone.

"What will you do now?" asked Sean.

"I'll go home and spend some time with my family. What will you do? Asked Ramone.

"Spend some time with my family, then it will be back to work," replied Sean as the helicopter landed in the parking lot of the station.

Sean and Ramone stepped out of the helicopter and walked into the station.

"Sean, we have them all downstairs. Ramone will take him down stairs for you," said Chris as he Danny took Carlos from Ramone.

"Sean, that's the man that you want," replied Ramone looking in the captain's office. Sean turned around and knew that he was. He walked into the captain's office as Agent Smith stood up. Sean walked over to Smith.and double up his fist and hit Smith who fell on the floor.

"Why did you do that?" asked Smith, getting up from the floor.

"You're under arrest for the murder of Mitchell, Abbott and Hayes and for betraying your country," said Sean as he put handcuffs on him.

"You don't know what you're talking about. I didn't kill anyone," said Smith.

"I have someone who knows different," replied Sean as he opened the door and motioned for Ramone to come in the office. Ramone stepped into the office.

"That's the man that Miguel met with several times. He was reponsible for the death of three DEA agents. I was in the background when he ahot Mitchell," replied Ramone.

"Are you going to take the word of a criminal?" asked Smith.

"Yes, because he's the undercover man for the Columbian Army," replied Sean handing hin to Chris and Danny.

"I talked to Mitchell's wife, I told how sorry we were. She said that they would be okay. Sean, go home and see Max. Forget about your job for a few days," said Harada.

"Thanks," said Sean walking out the office.
