It had been eight long years since the events on the Auriga ship. Newt was now 17 living with her grandparents in England. She was in 6-form at school and was very beautiful, with long blonde hair just below her shoulder, sparkling blue eyes with a cute smile, shinny white even teeth and soft, smooth slightly tanned skin. She had appeared in a few magazines already, advertising clothes by wearing different types. Not many called her Newt anymore, only Rebecca. After the events Auriga ship she had wanted to live with Ripley and Hicks but they were unable to take her as their own. So Newt was sent to live with her Grandparents, who she had never met before.
Tom was 22 now and had left school several years ago to join Calls organization. Him and Newt had stayed close to each other before he left, but now they only saw each very rarely and when ever they did it was short. Joe, Lewis, Doug, and Daniel had all been saved and their embryos had been taken out of them and Ripley had seen to it that the embryos had been destroyed before they could grow. Them, Alex, Brittany, and Fraser had all joined the organization with Tom.
Hicks was now a sergeant and in his thirty’s leading a team against Weyland- Yutani. He still bared the scars by the aliens, every single one, on his arm, on his chest, his face and his back. He could have had surgery to remove them, but he wanted everyone to see how much hell he had been through. New faces he met were often scared of his face but he was use to it now. The past eight years he had only spent half that time working for Halt. The other four years he had gone back to his home to sort out his personal life. He had joined Halt when Tom’s group had joined. Hicks was a wanted man in England and America and a handsome reward was to however captured him alive.
The team called each other by first name except Hicks, who they called Hicks rather then Dwayne. Hicks spent most of his time in space on a ship or undercover in the re-built gateway station which was several times bigger then the original one.
Hicks’s team included Tom, Joe, Lewis, Fraser, Doug, Daniel, Alex, and Brittany. Others in the team that weren’t at the events of the Auriga are Pete, Nathan, Dan, Kelli, Courtney, Chris, Harvey, Jordan and Adam. Tom, Joe, Lewis and Alex are the corporal’s of the team, and they were the best team of the organization, they went on missions to steal weapons and technology from Weyland and sometimes Hi-jack ships or destroy labs of Weyland Company which had important information useful to Weyland. Weyland had became power hunger, once Bishop II took over as leader for Weyland, he has continued his search to find the aliens.
When Gate-way station was destroyed, so were the coordinates for LV-426. Weyland was searching for the planet and so where the rebels, but so far no luck. One of Hicks first mission was to stop Weyland from going back to Fury 161, as they knew there might be a possibility that a grown Queen was there. Hicks had been successful in stopping them, then had to kill the Queen inside Fury 161.
Morse had become head of part of a group which tried to convince people about the existences of the aliens and the wrong ideas Weyland had to use for them. Morse was at the time working on publishing a book named “the dragon” telling the nightmares on Fury 161 and the Auriga ship. He saw Newt a lot more then anyone else at the time, because on Earth, in England a few hours away from where Newt lived.
Hicks had only seen Johner and Vriess once since the Auriga ship events, they had a new crew and were still space pirates, now wanted for many things with $5,000,000 reward for their capture.
They had so far been unable to find the aliens home world but Ripley and Call did top secret work for the organization which few knew about, Hicks rarely saw Ripley.
The organization itself was large, with 5,941 members some being scientist some being marines. It was run by a man named Jason Halt, and the organization was named after him, Halt. Jason was a smart determined man, at 6ft 2 and use to have the job at Weyland, the job Van Leuwen now has. He was fired however after he was unwilling to cooperate with Weyland when they asked him to programme the android Ash to use whatever means necessary to gain the xenomorph.
The Halt’s headquarters was underground, 20 miles in width and length with many rooms and tunnels. It was underneath a large jungle, no civilization for miles and miles. It was made originally for a prison, but was left unfinished once the prison on Fury 161 was built. Once Halt had thought of the idea to start a rebellion, he decided that headquarters should be there, the underground prison as it was big and where Weyland would least expect. He finished building it and started to gather members for the Rebellion.
On the rare occasion, Hicks’s team was on Earth for a weeks break. They were to do one patrol of the Halt base camp then separate to there own homes for a week.
Unfortunately Weyland had found out that there was some sort of Rebellion agents them, and knew that Jason Halt was involved. A reward in money had been offered to whoever had any information on Jason Halt’s plan or his whereabouts. Unfortunately a team of 10 marines working for Halt had decided to tell Weyland the whereabouts and everything else. Luckily there security cameras had seen 2 people planning to betray, talking about there plans to betray Halt. The 10 marines planning to betray had found out this and had fled before Halt could do anything about them. Halt knew that they had were going to tell Weyland, and if they succeeded it would ruin everything. Hicks and his team were out on patrol in the jungle when this happened and have been contact by phone on the situation. It was Hicks’ team’s job to find them. The traitors were armed and on foot, with a map of the jungle. Hicks was just finishing explaining the situation to everyone in his team. They were all armed with an APC for transport. Hicks was leaning on the APC while talking to them, while the rest of the team were leaning on near by trees or sitting on the ground. A few were smoking, Hicks had given up after the events on the Auriga ship.
Hicks: so that’s are mission, to hunt and capture the bastards okay?
Jordan: can we kill them?
Hicks: are orders are to capture them since when have we cared for rules when it comes to bastards?
Everyone grinned.
Tom: so what’s the plan? How we gonna do this, I mean they could be anywhere.
Hicks: Are sources at Halt say that they made a run for it about 1 or 2 hours ago. They’ve taken a 20miles look around the base and they aren’t there.
Alex: what about the rest of the jungle? 20 miles in a place like this doesn’t really give us any help.
Hicks: they’ll be trying to find a city or a town so they can get help, and the nearest town is about 35 miles from headquarters, so there obviously going to try and reach that town. Halt is sending all available teams he has to try and find them, it just so happens we’re the closest to that town, about 5 or 10 miles away.
Hicks took from His pocket a folded up map. He unfolded it and showed it to the group.
Hicks: The town is here
He pointed at a point on the map.
Hicks: I want a handful of the team to take there APC and cut off there root to the town. Then the rest of the team can split into three’s and cut of all other exit’s, one team will have the left side of the jungle, the other have the right, and the third have behind. With any luck we’ll trap them, everyone understand?
Tom: yeah we got you.
Hicks: alright I want everyone in the APC now, Brittany you’re driving. I’ll tell you to stop at a certain point so I can split the team up into four’s. Alright everyone get in,, and Alex put your goddam armour on.
Alex: will do
Hicks turned around and walked into the APC. The rest followed. Alex picked up his body armour which was against a tree. He put it on himself with an annoyed expression, while Chris stood next to him smoking a cigar.
Chris: hurry up man
Alex: god this is a size to big, it annoys the hell out of me.
Chris: then ask for a bigger size
Alex: I have but I’ve been waiting for a year now and still nothing.
Chris: then get some muscle on you or get fat.
Alex: ha very funny, it doesn’t matter how much I eat I just don’t get fat.
Alex picked up an oddly shape gun which was against the same tree his armour had been. Chris looked at it.
Chris: niiiiice a disk gun, where’d you get it?
Alex: stole it on our last mission.
Chris: you tested it yet?
Alex: yeah it’s awesome, I shot it right at a tree and it sliced it in two.
{A disk gun fires sharp disk’s which spin very fast around that it could slice through a human body.}
Alex: man I hope I get to use it today.
Chris: c’mon let’s get going.
They walked into the APC and slid the door shut behind them. Everyone was fastening there seatbelts. Brittany was the driver, and was upfront with Hicks. Hicks was holding the map.
Hicks: okay take that road and go down it for a few miles, I’ll tell you when to stop okay?
Brittany: yep got it.
Hicks nodded, and then took a seat next to her.
Brittany: okay everyone we’re like going to get this show on the road so stay sitting on your ass.
The APC’s engine started to roar, and Brittany started to steer forward. Daniel who had not fastened his seat belt, fell off his seat once they began to move.
Daniel: ow fuck! I hadn’t put my seat belt on yet Brittany!
Brittany: I told you too,
Daniel got up and sat back down, and fastened his seat belt.
Daniel: she did that on purpose…………..
Doug: dude she always does she’s such a bitch sometimes
Tom was sitting on either side of Pete and Doug. Tom was singing quietly to himself.
Tom: in they end I got so far but in the end it doesn’t even matter I had to fall to lose it all but In they end it doesn’t even matter
Pete: ah Tom what shit is that?
Tom: It aint shit, it’s a band from the 21st century
Pete: where’d you hear it from?
Tom: on T.V this show on what was popular in history, or something like that.
Pete: that was popular? Ha!
Tom: well what are you into?
Pete: I don’t listen to music that much, I’m more into shooting things, get my trusty gun out and shoot the crap out of people, bang bang bang.
Doug: shame you miss half the time
Pete: I don’t miss at all I get them right on target
Doug: dude you miss like every time, last mission before we went into combat you were like oh I’m so good I can kill anyone, and you missed the guy from like a foot away.
Pete: No I didn’t
Doug: you did Pete you are such a liar!
Pete: I don’t see you doing much better, you miss more then I do
Doug: I shoot the guy from twenty feet with a pistol and killed him how is that missing.
Tom rolled his eyes and continued singing.
Tom: I put my trust in you pushed as far as I could go, for all this there’s only one thing you should know
Doug: dude shut up, there a terrible band.
Hicks unbuckled from his seat. He stood up so that everyone could see him.
Hicks: will you guys shut up you sound like a pair of old ladies. Alright we’re about to split up and here’s how it’s going to work. I want Tom, Joe, Brittany, Adam, Jordan, Alex and Daniel to stay in the APC with me, the rest of you will get out once we’ve stopped and then split into three teams. Use the map and take each side of the jungle surrounding the village, understood?
They all nodded. Hicks then turned around and bent down to talk to Brittany.
Tom: ah god dam it I got a real bad wedge
Pete: uh I wanted to know that because?
Tom put his hands down his pants.
Pete: oh for god sake
Tom: I’m just un-wedging myself that’s why I told you I had a wedge, so that you wouldn’t think I’m doing something I’m not.
Kelli who was opposite Tom had just finished having a conversation with Courtney and now looked at Tom.
Kelli: Tom what are you doing?
Tom: ah uh Kelli it’s not what it looks like
Pete: yes he does find you sexy and he was just giving himself a bit of fun
Tom: oh shut up Pete, I had a wedge
Kelli: sure Tom…..
The APC stopped
Hicks: Every one I just got word that those traitors have got a combat Robot v.1. There not to deadly if you keep your distance from it. Alright, everyone who I didn’t say to stay in the APC get out split up. Lewis, Doug and Fraser you be in charge of the three teams, Tom you’ll be second in command for ours……that is if you’re not to busy
He looked at Tom. Tom took his hand out of his pants. All those who had been called to get out, started to unbuckle themselves and exit the APC. Kelli walked out, and Courtney who had been sitting next to each other looked at Tom.
Courtney: God Tom I know I’m attractive but you don’t have to tell everyone that you think of me that way in Public.
Tom: ha funny
Courtney walked out..
Hicks then slide the APC door shut once all those who were suppose to be out were.
Hicks: alright let’s go Brittany.
Brittany: got you’re seatbelt on Daniel?
Daniel: just drive.
The APC began to move again.
Brittany: we’ll be at the village in about 5 minutes.
Adam: god I wish I had my bike now
Tom grinned.
Tom: yeah so do I, because I’m amazing and all.
Adam did a false laugh.
Adam: ha you’re joking right?
Tom: of course I am.
Jordan: so whose gonna kill? I am.
Tom: well you would
Jordan: They deserve what they get.
Daniel: Jordan you always want to kill things.
Jordan: because I’m good at it. I only do it to those who deserve it, these traitors asked for it the moment they agreed on selling us out.
Adam: anyway what model is the Combat robot v.1? Is it hard to beat?
Joe: Not really, it’s really old about 20 years I think, it’s looks like one of those old power loaders, you know the yellow ones with the flashing orange light bulb?
Tom: uh I think so
Joe: ok well, it looks basically the same as that only it both arms, instead of lifting stuff fire flames. Basically like a flamethrower.
Alex: okay I see Hicks’s point about keeping our distance.
Jordan: don’t be a pussy, I got a rocket launcher here and nothing is going to get through me. I’ll be the one to blow that machine thing.
Tom: You always are, God Joe how do you remember all the details and stuff, there are so many of them combat robots.
Alex: I still wonder how you got ranked corporal Tom
Daniel: yeah you sure you didn’t pay Hicks or something?
Tom: oh shut up.
Joe: yeah how did you become a Corporal?
Tom: because I’m obviously better then you guys.
Alex: yeah right Tom I’m as good as you
Brittany: okay everyone we’re approaching the village, I’m gonna SHIT!
A loud crashing noise was heard from outside, then suddenly the APC had stopped and had crashed into a fallen tree. Everyone jerked from there seats.
Tom: fuck!
The APC had stopped moving, Brittany had hit her head on the window in front of her.
Brittany: ow that really hurt ow!
She leant against her hand.
Jordan: what the hell happened?
Brittany: a tree fell down in front of us and we crashed into it.
Adam: god learn to use the brakes
Hicks unbuckled himself and walked to Brittany.
Hicks: you okay?
Brittany: yeah I’ll be fine…
Hicks: how’s everyone else?
Daniel: ow I really hit my head
Hicks: you’ll live, how far away are we from the village?
Brittany: about half a mile.
Hicks: okay people we’re going to have to move the tree, take your weapons out just encase.
Jordan: no problem
They all unbuckled.
Hicks: Brittany you stay here and try to contact the others will have our communicators on so tell us once you’ve talked to them, tell them what happened.
Brittany: okay.
Hicks left the APC after the others. He was on the road with the jungle all around him. He walked to where the tree was, where everyone was gathered around.
Jordan: well this is bad luck
Joe: I think this was done on purpose, look.
Joe pointed to the end of the fallen tree where it was burning slightly. A gun fire was heard from close by.
Tom: everyone take cover!
They all ran and took cover behind the APC.
Jordan: crap! Where the hell are they?!?!
Alex: they must be in the jungle
Hicks talked into his headset communicator.
Hicks: Brittany do you copy over?
Brittany: yeah I contacted the others
Hicks: contact them again, the traitors are right next to us there right next to us!
Brittany: crap! Ok will do!
Joe took out from his pocket a pair of binoculars. He put them against the APC and looked through them.
Tom: Joe what the hell are you doing?
Joe: I built these binoculars; they let you see through solid objects, and it shows an x-ray of any living thing.
Daniel: god you’re to smart….its not normal…..
Joe: shut up
Hicks: how many are there
Joe: I think there are eight…….
Adam: is there robot thing with them?
Joe: no
Gun fires could be heard and the sound of bullets hitting the APC.
Jordan: Screw this!
Jordan stood up so his head was above the APC and fired his rocket launcher into the jungle. There was a huge explosion, as trees feel to the ground on fire.
Jordan: that’s what I’m talking about
Daniel: holy crap Jordan you could have killed us!
Jordan: oh calm down don’t wet yourself
Tom looked at Joe.
Tom: did he kill them?
Joe: I think so……
Alex: that’s Jordan for you
Joe: wait there are still three left, there on the ground
Hicks: okay me, Alex, Tom and Adam will go around left, Jordan, Joe and Daniel you go right
They did as they were told. The two teams ran into the jungle left and right. Tom hid behind a tree, and Adam and Alex hid next to two trees near by.
Alex: do you think there able to fire at us?
Tom peeked his head around his tree. He saw a man to the right of him lying on the ground, bleeding both legs ripped off and a pistol in his hand. He fired and a bullet hit the tree an inch from his head. He pulled his head back quickly.
Tom: I think they can fire yeah.
Hicks then spoke loudly.
Hicks: PUT DOWN YOUR GUN AND WE WONT HURT YOU
Injured Man: FUCK YOU!!!
Tom looked at Alex.
Tom: Alex you have a disk gun see if you can get rid of the guy to the right of me, he’s inured badly and don’t kill him see if you can get rid of his gun.
Alex put a thumb up to say he understood. He peeked his head around the corner of the tree. He pointed and aimed his disk gun at the man.
Alex: gottcha
Alex fired and a disk flew out of it slicing of the mans hand. The man screamed in pain.
Adam: I see another one, I’m taking the shot
Adam had in his hand a eleco-gun, it would fire out a powerful electronic blast at the opponent. Adam fired and hit the man. The man began to burn as the blast hit him and screamed in pain. Adam let goad of the trigger and the electronic blast stop.
Tom: Now for that other one…….
Suddenly a gun fire was heard, and the bullet skimmed the side of Adam’s leg.
Adam: ah shit!
Adam fell to the ground in pain yelling. Another gun fire was heard and then silent. Hicks talked into his communicator.
Hicks: man down man down Jordan, Joe, Daniel does anyone copy over
Daniel: we hear you, what the hell’s going on we’ve taken one down over here just now, but Joe got hit on the side of his hip, did you get the other two?
Hicks: we got them, how bad is Joe hurt?
Daniel: he’s bleeding badly he needs help!
Hicks: meet back at the A.P.C.
Hicks looked at Adam who was gritting his teeth in pain his hand over his wound. Tom and Alex we kneeling next to him.
Tom: are you okay?
Adam: does it look like it!
Hicks: Adam lean on to me I’ll….
But before he said what he’ll do, Brittany’s voice was heard from the headset.
Brittany: Hicks I just got word from the other teams, there making there way to the village.
Hicks: why!? I didn’t give them that order!
Brittany: haven’t you seen!? look at the sky!
Hicks looked up and saw smoke rising into the sky from not to far away.
Hicks: okay I’m on it!
Hicks turned to Tom and Alex,
Hicks: the others are at the village they need help, Alex help Adam to the A.P.C and try to get that tree out of the way, Tom you come with me to the village, Alex tell Jordan to go straight to the village to help us, you and Daniel help the wounded and get that A.P.C. to the village.
Alex: okay.
Alex grabbed a hold of Adam’s left arm, and helped him up and then started to carry him to the A.P.C.
Hicks: let’s go Tom, we’re half a mile away it’ll take us a few minutes to run there.
Hicks started to forward and Tom ran behind him.
Tom: you said to Alex for him to help the wounded, who else is hurt?
Hicks: Joe got shot in the hip.
Tom: will he be okay!?
Hicks: he’ll be fine.
Tom: yeah we’ve had worst.
They ran in silence for a few minutes, monkey’s jumping from tree to tree. They came to the end of the jungle and saw a wooden village burning with people running all around.
Hicks: lock and load
Both Hicks and Tom ran into the village both carrying Pulse rifles. Hicks entered into an ally and immediately saw a man with a rocket launcher firing at houses a few feet away. He then saw the machine with both its arms shooting out fire. Hicks yelled above all the screaming to Tom.
Hicks: TOM YOU TAKE OUT THE GUY WITH THE ROCKET LUANCHER I’LL TRY AND TAKE OUT THE MACHINE!
Tom: OKAY!
Tom started to run at the guy with the rocket launcher, who was facing the opposite direction. Tom aimed his pulse rifle at the guy but before he could fired, part of house next to him, on fire, broke down and crashed just in front of him. He lost the shot, but the guy turned around once hearing the noise and saw Tom. He raised his rocket launcher at Tom and fired a rocket. Tom fell to the ground and the rocket went flying into the jungle then exploded.
Tom: YOU STUPID IDIOT YOU NEARLY GOT ME!
Tom rolled over and took cover behind a wooden house. He then peeked his head around the corner of the house and aimed the pulse rifle at the guy with the Rocket Launcher. He was reloading. Tom fired three bullets at the guys left leg. The guy yelled in pain and fell to the floor
Tom: SURRENDER NOW!
The guy picked up the loaded rocket launcher and aimed it at Tom. But before he could fire another rocket, Hicks had fired a bullet at the guy. It was a headshot and the guy fell to the ground dead. Tom looked and saw Hicks hiding behind a different wooden house, behind the now dead man with the rocket launcher. The machine was just at the side of the wooden house that Hicks was hiding behind. It fired flames from it’s hands again burning the house opposite the one Hicks was Hiding behind. Tom aimed at the robots leg and fired a grenade at it. It hit it dead on target, the robot slanted on that side, and could no longer move. The robot saw Tom and fired its flames at him. Tom took cover again behind the same wooden house, but the front of the house which Tom was hiding behind had been caught by the flames the robot had sent out. The fire spread very quickly an Tom was forced out into the open, or otherwise be burned. He was face to face with the combat machines now. He raised his pulse rifle and started to fire blindly at the robot. Two of the grenades blew off one of machines arm off. Tom was empty on grenades and he knew that the bullets would do little damage. Suddenly two grenades flew by and hit the machine on the back. Electricity started fly from it’s back then it exploded. The force pushed Tom onto the ground. Tom looked at where the machine once was and instead saw Hicks on top of it, his pulse rifle aimed at a bloody man, who had operated the machine. He was in a lot of pain, but unable to yell in pin, both his legs were missing.
Hicks: I’m sorry…
Hicks fired a pulse rifle bullet at the man’s head. Hicks then walked over to Tom and helped him up.
Hicks: you alright?
Tom: yeah I’m fine, nice shot on that combat robot.
Hicks: yeah not bad
Tom: is that all of them
Hicks: yep, we need to get out of here the police will get here soon
Tom: oh yeah you’re like wanted or something right?
Hicks: yes. Okay well let’s just contact Brittany and see how there doing; see if we can get a ride out of here.
Tom: okay.
But before they communicated to Brittany, Fraser and Jordan ran out of the forest. He spotted Hicks and Tom and ran over to them.
Jordan: you guys alright? What happened?
Jordan looked at the burning village.
Tom: long story
Jordan: damn I missed all the action.
Hicks: where are the rest?
Fraser: well we all met up at the A.P.C, and Jordan had already gone after you guys. We then all got the tree out of the way and all got into the A.P.C and started to drive down to the village. We were about 100 meters away and Brittany said that for some reason she couldn’t communicate with you guys. So instead of all of us going to attack only I went out to find you guys.
Tom: why only you?
Fraser: well Jordan was already out and we didn’t want to blow any cover.
Hicks: okay that’s all good, let’s get out of here
Hicks and Jordan walked into the jungle. Tom and Fraser walked behind them.
Fraser: was it a good battle?
Tom: it was okay
Fraser: kill anyone?
Tom: I shot someone but Hicks killed them both
Fraser: that’s Hicks for you he’s so damn good at this job
Tom: he’s not the only one
Fraser: oh yeah me.
Tom: more like me.
They entered the jungle and saw a few meters away from themselves was the A.P.C with Nathan, Pete, Alex and Harvey outside
Nathan: Hey I see them!
Nathan pointed towards Hicks and co. Hicks and co. walked to them.
Alex: how’d it go?
Hicks: I’ll tell you all once we’re back at Halt.
Harvey: we’re not going back to Halt
Hicks: why?
Alex: we just got word from Halt, the police are on there way and we can’t go back in case they follow us.
Fraser: then what are we suppose to do?
Alex: there sending us two dropships to pick us up, to take us on our break. One is going to England for those who have family there and one is going to New Jersey for the same reason.
Tom: well that sounds good to me.
Fraser: what about the A.P.C.?
Harvey: all those going to New Jersey will stay in the A.P.C, and then Brittany will drive into the dropship and just fly to New Jersey, they’ll get out and the dropship will return to Halt with the A.P.C. Our entire luggage is onboard.
Hicks: well that all sounds like a lot of hassle for something that doesn’t need to be but whatever, how long until they get here?
Alex: Any minute now.
Hicks: alright
Hicks opened the A.P.C. door and saw everyone else inside talking; they all grinned when they saw Hicks and clapped.
Hicks: yeah alright thanks, listen everyone we got about a minute until we get picked up so get your stuff.
The dropships arrived 5 minutes later. Tom, Fraser, Jordan, Pete, Nathan, Lewis, Harvey, Adam and Joe were all going back to England. The rest were going to there homes in New Jersey. Oddly Hicks was going to England with Tom and Co. even though he had lived most his life in America. When Tom asked him this he said that it was a personal thing which he doesn’t want anyone to know about. The journey took several hours in which most of the time everyone was asleep. Hicks yawned, he didn’t sleep often these days, not a day went by when he wouldn’t think about the events on LV-426, Fury 161 and on the Auriga ship. He closed his eyes, and thought of the events on LV-426. So much had been lost there that he had held deer to him, all because of him he could have and should have saved his team, he should have rescued Hudson when the aliens took him, he should have gone back to save Dietrich and Apone from the aliens, it should have been him not Gorman who went back to get Vasquez he would have saved her, all of them had died when he could have saved them. The main reason he wanted to go TO England was to talk to Newt about LV-426, there wasn’t anyone else he could talk to it about apart from Ripley who he never saw anyway. Hicks heard a women’s voice.
Vasquez: HICKS!!!! HICKS HELP ME!!!!
Hicks opened his eyes and saw himself on LV-426, out in the open the cold wind blowing on him, standing outside on top of a rock. He looked down from the rock and saw Vasquez with a smartgun, her back pressed against the bottom of the rock firing at aliens/warriors. The Aliens were screeching in pain acid flying everywhere as Vasquez fired at them.
Hicks: I’M COMING!!!!!
Hicks jumped down next to Vasquez and fired his pulse rifle at oncoming aliens. Suddenly Hudson appeared next to Hicks and started to fire with Hicks and Vasquez. Then Frost appeared next to Hudson and Apone next to Hudson. Before long Hicks’s old team were all lined out firing at the aliens.
Apone: get them hard!
Apone had a cigar in his mouth.
Hudson: hey sarge you get lip cancer from smoking that
Suddenly Hicks pulse rifle clicked empty as did everyone else’s.
Frost: what the hell we suppose to use man harsh language?
An almighty roar was hard from far back. The two tailed alien jumped from the crowd of aliens and landed in front of Dietrich.
Dietrich: maybe they don’t show up on infer red at all…..
The two tailed alien stuck its tail through Dietrich and began killing everyone else.
Hudson: FUCK YOU!
Its tail went straight through Hudson’s face.
Hicks: HUDSON!!!!
Hicks for some reason against all his effort could not move. A hand touched Hicks’. Hicks looked and saw Newt and Ripley next to him standing straight both with facehuggers on them.
Hicks: NO!
Suddenly the floor began to melt and Hicks started to fall. He landed hard on the ground light all around him.
Hicks: ow…..
Dillon and Lois were in front of him.
Dillon: I’m dead Hicks…….and it’s your fault…..
Hicks: no Dillon I tried to save you I tried
Lois: did you try to save me?
Hicks: I did everything I could………
Lois pointed a thumb behind her. Hicks saw Tom, Fraser, Alex and everyone else behind her surrounded by aliens, all of them dieing.
Hicks: NO!
Hicks tried to get up but couldn’t.
Lois: everyone you know will die……..and its all your fault…….
Ripley again appeared in front of Hicks.
Ripley: if it comes to that I’ll do us both…..
Her arm turned into a tentacle. She wrapped it around Hicks’ body and started to crush his bones.
Ripley: your fault……..
Hicks: R……Ripley……..
Tom: Hicks!
Hicks woke with a jolt and saw Tom’s face in front of his.
Tom: are you okay?
Hicks sighed with relief.
Hicks: I’m fine….
Tom: well…we’re here our car is waiting for us.
Hicks unbuckled himself and walked with Tom out of the dropship. There was a people carrier car parked outside. The rest were already inside. Tom and Hicks climbed in. They drove for an hour talking about stuff and the things they were going to do.
Adam: I wonder if you’re still the fastest in Britain Harvey?
Harvey: probably I’m the fastest thing alive there is no way anybody can beat my record in Brittan for 100 meters.
Adam: and if they have?
Harvey: I’ll just have to beat them.
Jordan: I’m gonna go and see the old gang
Nathan: same as
Pete: yeah I’ll come too after I’ve seen my family and too.
Jordan: Tom you gonna come?
Tom: I might…..probably not though
Jordan: why?
Lewis grinned.
Lewis: I know why he wants to get with Rebecca.
Tom frowned.
Tom: she’s my cousin, I don’t know what you do with your cousins but I don’t do anything like that with them.
Lewis: don’t play dumb you know which Rebecca I’m talking about……otherwise known as Newt.
Jordan grinned.

The rest chuckled.
Tom: shut up I’m not going to have sex with Newt she’s five years younger then me.
Adam: well in that case I’ll have her
The rest laughed.
Joe: like you’d get with her!
Fraser: have you seen a picture of her lately? O man she looks mighty good
Tom: guys seriously shut up
Pete: yeah Tom would rather have it with a man.

Hicks looked back from driving.
Hicks: I don’t know really what to say
Lewis: wow we found a question Hicks can’t answer.
Hicks: you shouldn’t talk about her as if it’s some kind of competition, she’s had a ruff life the least you can do is talk about her like she isn’t a prize.
There was silence for a moment.
Jordan: but she so fucking hott!
And they started to talk about how sexy she was now. After an Hour Hicks started to drop off people to there homes.
Finally it was only Tom left to go, and him and Hicks were alone together in the car. Hicks rubbed his eyes.
Tom: tied?
Hicks: a bit…..what you gonna do tonight?
Tom: go and see Newt probably…after I’ve had dinner with my family, you wanna come?
Hicks: nah I’m alright
Tom: where you gonna stay tonight?
Hicks: I dunno
Tom paused for a moment.
Tom: you can come over mine.
Hicks: thanks but I’m okay
Tom: come on where else you gonna go?
Hicks: I have friends I wanna catch up on.
Tom: c’mon knowing you your friends probably wont have a house.
Hicks hesitated.
Hicks: alright just for tonight though, will your parents mind?
Tom: No she wont mind she’s heard a lot about you…..I don’t really have a Dad……he died on the Auriga ship…..but she does have a boyfriend that I don’t see often so….
Hicks: oh……sorry….I know how it feels
Tom: it doesn’t matter it was a long time ago…..
They drove in silence for a few seconds.
Hicks: so they’ve heard a lot about me huh?
Tom: yeah, probably not good because you wanted and everything but I’ve told them and stuff, they wont mind, they were on the Auriga ship they escaped so everything will be fine.
Hicks: okay.
Tom: it’s just down this road, that house number 1, I have a younger brother who’s annoying he’s in the same year as Newt.
Hicks parked just outside the house.
Tom: they don’t know I’m visiting but it doesn’t matter.
Tom got out of the car and Hicks got out behind him. Tom rang on the doorbell.
The door opened and Tom saw his brother Bradley looking at him.
Bradley: wow what a surprise
Tom: hey you alright?
Bradley: yeah not bad
Tom: this is Dwayne
Hicks: hi
Bradley: hey
Tom: are you home alone?
Bradley: yeah mum’s in America on holiday for a week.
Tom: are you serious?
Bradley: yeah
Tom: ah man that sucks a lot.
Bradley: yeah uh how long you staying for
Tom: the week and Dwayne is going to stay over to
Bradley: well I’m having a party tonight so……..
He looked at Hicks.
Hicks: It’s okay I wont do anything to spoiler it or whatever.
Bradley: okay
Tom: okay well we’re gonna come in now.
Bradley pulled the door all the way open. Tom and Hicks walked in and saw five people bringing in beer from the garage.
Tom: you know you’re under age right?
Bradley: what you gonna do call the police?
Tom: yeah like I’m gonna do that with Dwayne around.
Bradley looked at Dwayne.
Bradley: wait a second Dwayne? As in Dwayne Hicks?
Hicks: yeah
Bradley: holy crap!
Tom: shut up, I’ve told you everything already so don’t bother him about anything.
Bradley had a wide smile.
Bradley: I wont but god it is like so cool to see you
Hicks: thanks
Bradley: is it true you were cornered in a warehouse with at least 200 people after you like police, S.W.A.T the army all that crap and you still escaped?!?
Hicks: kind of
Bradley: did you take down the dragon gang here in England by yourself!?
Hicks: not by myself but yeah I did.
Bradley: holy crap you’re my hero
Tom: I’m gonna show Hicks to his room now.
Bradley: okay
Tom and Hicks went up stairs. Tom opened a door and put a light on.
Tom: here you can sleep in my Mum’s room
Hicks: okay
Tom: sorry about my bro
Hicks: don’t worry I have a felling there’ll be new stories about me soon.
Tom: meaning?
Hicks: you really think nobody is going to call the cops about me?
Tom: oh well we can take them.
That night Hicks left early once teenagers started to arrive at Tom’s house. Tom stayed though; Bradley had told him Newt was coming. Tom called people to see if they wanted to come. Fraser, Lewis, Adam and Jordan came the rest could not. The music was playing in the background and people were dancing. Tom and Co. were sitting down on a table by themselves drinking
Jordan: get a load of her!
Jordan pointed to a girl walking pass them.
Adam: you’re such a pervert you couldn’t get her anyway
Jordan: what 5 or 4 years? That aint much.
Adam: but still.
Lewis: so where’s Newt?
Tom: no idea
Fraser: maybe she saw Tom and ran

They drank in silence for a while.
Jordan: right not that guys aren’t fun but I’m gonna get me a babe, Adam come with and I’ll show you how a guy gets a women.
Adam: let’s go, see you losers later.
Jordan and Adam left. They drank in silence for a while. The window behind Tom was letting in cold wind.
Fraser: I’m going over there too.
Fraser left to join Adam and Jordan.

Tom opened his eyes. A girl had walked in the room with blond shinny hair down to her shoulders, white sparkling teeth with eyes like diamonds. She had diamond earrings on and red lipstick. She wore a black top which was tight on her, and black pants/trousers. It was Newt

Lewis got up but Tom pulled him back down.
Tom: hold up I’m the one that likes her.
Lewis: glad to here it bye
He made to get up but Tom pulled him back down.
Lewis: what are you doing?
Tom: I’m the one who knows her you barley know her
Lewis: well this is a great way to start.

Lewis got up and poked his head through the window.
Lewis: it didn’t fall out.

Tom kicked Lewis hard on the ass and he fell out of the window Tom then shut the window and waved to Lewis as he lay on the ground, a lighter in his hand. Tom got up and started to walk over to Newt who was with a large group of friends. He was feet away when a teenage boy walked up to Newt and started to hug her. Tom stopped for a moment, and hesitated. Should he go over there? He decided to and carried on walking to Newt who was now alone with the boy.
Newt: Martin we’ve been through this I’m not with you anymore.
Martin: c’mon bec you know you want to
Newt: no I don’t want to
Martin: you know you’ll enjoy it
Tom butted in.
Tom: she said piss off so go and do yourself a favour and go away
Martin and Newt looked at him.
Newt: TOM!
Newt smiled and hugged Tom. Tom smiled
Tom: yeah it’s good to see you too
Martin: and who the hell are you!?
Tom let go of Newt and looked at Martin.
Tom: my name’s Tom I’m Bradley’s bro
Martin: yeah no wonder
Tom: and your Martin
Martin: that’s right
Tom: well it was nice meeting you me and Ne…bec have a lot to catch up on so bye
Tom and Newt left into the garden leaving Martin in by himself. They went outside and looked at each other.
Newt: oh my god it’s so cool seeing you again!
Tom: yeah you too
Newt: god you’ve changed so much!
Tom: yeah I work out more, you’ve changed too
Newt: you think?
Tom: yeah its hard to believe that little girl I use to look after has grown up this much
Newt: I was the one who looked after you
Tom: ha yeah probably, it’s so great seeing you though Newt
Newt’s smile dropped slightly.
Newt: please don’t call me Newt…….it reminds me of to many bad things….
Tom: you still think about it?

Tom: not as much as Hicks that’s for sure.
Newt: how is he?
Tom shrugged.
Tom: same as usual strong silent…….nothing can stop him though and I mean nothing. He’s actually here staying with us for a while.
Newt: really? Cool is her here now?
Tom: No, he went out
Newt: that’s annoying will have to catch up some time
Tom: yeah, you see much of Ripley?
Newt: No……no I don’t I haven’t seen here in years have you?
Tom: maybe two years ago I think her and Call they do some really dangerous stuff from what I’ve heard.
Newt: yeah so do you probably
Tom: yeah ha yeah I do but its not nice

A girl called Newt’s name.
Newt: listen I really want to talk to you but today just isn’t right to many people, I’ll come over sometime tomorrow.
Tom: okay great
Newt smilied then walked away. Tom sighed.
Meanwhile Hicks was walking up a fleet of stairs in a hotel. He got to the very top then knocked on the last door. The sound of a shotgun loaded, and the door opened.
Hicks: hey Morse
Morse looked at Hicks then smiled a wide grin.
Morse: Hicks my man how the fuck you been?
Hicks: not bad you?
Morse: fuck knows really bored out of my mind half the fucking time and I’m wanted for murder.
Hicks: not much has changed then
Morse: no not really, come in come in lets get drunk
Hicks grinned and walked in. The house was a mess with lights on everywhere, every bulb was on. There were papers scattered all over the place. Hicks sat on a chair and Morse sat next to him and gave him a beer.
Morse: so what you been fucking up to mate?
Hicks: not a lot, you know the missions and crap against Weyland
Morse: yeah I’ve heard about them they sound as fun as taking as shit
Hicks: how’s your dragon story coming on?
Morse: not bad it’s actually going on the market tomorrow so you’ll be able to read it.
Hicks: has it got all the events?
Morse: yep every single thing I fucking did from the time you crash landed is in there
Hicks: wonder what’s gonna happen
Morse: who gives a fuck I just hope something fucking happens, oh Hicks I eh I’ve been sent an e-mail to tell you that Halt needs you back tomorrow
Hicks: tomorrow! Why?
Morse: your not gonna believes this but they’ve found them…..
Hicks sat in silence for a while.
Hicks: what you mean them?
Morse: they found that planet where you first saw the bastards.
Hicks: they found LV-426…….
Morse nodded.
Hicks: shit….
Morse: yeah shit……they want you and your team to go be back by tomorrow, a dropship is gonna come pick you up where they dropped you off today….are you gonna go?
Hicks stared blankly for a moment.
Hicks: of course I’m going I will get back to them for what they’ve done to me.
Morse grinned.
Morse: good man
Hicks: are you going?
Morse: I want to get back at them but I can’t I’m to afraid….. I mean I just can’t.
Hicks: okay
Morse: Ripley and Call are going
Hicks: really?
Morse: yeah you seen them recently?
Hicks: last year
Morse: I haven’t seen them in fucking years…anything with you and Ripley
Hicks: no nothing
Morse: tuff break but I’m sure this’ll help if you know what I mean
Hicks stood up.
Hicks: I got to tell the others that I’m leaving tomorrow, I’ll see you tomorrow I’ll come back for a minute or so.
Morse: wait Halt wants your whole team to go your other half in America are gonna be there.
Hicks: I know what Halts means, but they’re not going I’m not gonna allow it……..it wont be a repeat of last time
And Hicks left the apartment.
