It isn?t necessary to read that to understand this storyline, but it was a stand alone piece that I specifically wrote in order to lay foundations and set-up characters for ?Sins of the Father?. Also, I?m a Brit and, as my storyline involves a Scottish family, I have used phrases and words relative to their background and the Victorian era.

Heartfelt thanks to my husband, Mike, for being such a supportive fella during the highs, and many lows, of writing this epic. I think he was joking when he threatened divorce, naming the ?Seven? as the reason for our marriage break-up! A huge, huge thank you to Jean for doing such a great job in beta?ing this for me.
