Bio:I am a US citizen by naturalization -- I left South Africa in disgust in 1986, at the height of the apartheid regime. Recent political developments here in the USA -- in particular, the "election" (if one could call it that) of a clown and a buffoon to the White House -- have caused me to reflect on the old adage "Be careful what you wish for; you just might get it." I write short stories from time to time, although I have never tried to find an agent or to get published. It has been suggested to me by friends and members of my family that I should try to do so. I currently work as a computer systems analyst, and am no longer satisifed working in this industry; perhaps I will indeed try to write short stories professionally....
I write about issues that resonate with me. Many of these issues, quite frankly, mirror loss and grief that I have suffered in real life.
Although I currently live in Chicago, I consider New York City to be my real home, and hope eventually to return to that city.
I can be reached for comment, reviews, etc., and encourage other readers to contact me in this regard.
